There is a beautiful event this weekend. For most of us it is so far away in Germany, but we wanted to tell you about it anyway. This is how they describe this years “Farm Festival”:
This year’s “Hoffestival” will again present to you an eventful weekend at our farm in Klosterzimmern, Bavaria. There will be food stands with savory dishes, delicious baked goods and homemade yogurt. Our program is very family-oriented, including a playground, hay rides, pet zoo and different craft-workshops designed for children.
There will be presentations on different topics, a children’s play and our schoolhouse will be open to the public. Do you have any questions about us? At our Round Table you can get your answers.
At night we will have “Gemütlichkeit” (German: friendly togetherness) with music and folk dancing for everyone. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
We live open lives, just as the Scriptures teach, and we are unashamed of the gospel that has made this wonderful life possible.
There will be a social gathering each evening with music and folk dancing for anyone to join in! In years past thousands of our neighbors have joined us over the three-day weekend, and this year is sure to be no different. The hours are from eleven in the morning until ten at night.
The theme this year is “The Lives of Our Children” — showcasing the many ways we invest in, educate, and share our lives with our children. In addition, there will all kinds of children’s activities, farm tours, and delicious food and drink (non-alcoholic) for sale, including our farm-fresh produce.
